The short version: the iPhone and iPad app collects no data, the Android app shares only what its ad banner needs, and this website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
The Mako Cats Math app
iPhone and iPad: no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Game progress and settings are saved only on the device and are never sent to us.
Android: the same, except that the app shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. To show it, Google receives technical data such as the IP address. Every ad request is marked as directed to children, so the ads are not personalized.

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Every page, picture and script comes from this website itself. We load nothing from other companies – no web fonts, no videos, no social media buttons. Links to the App Store and Google Play are plain links: nothing is loaded from them until you click.
The "Try a question" game on the home page runs only in your browser and saves nothing.
Hosting
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., USA. When you open a page, GitHub's servers necessarily process your IP address and technical details of the request, such as the time, the page requested and your browser type, in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure. GitHub may process this data in the USA. We cannot see these logs. Details: GitHub Privacy Statement.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in showing this website reliably and securely.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, and complain to a data protection authority. Email us to use these rights.
